Hello, I am Chloe. You can contact me if you need an 'emergency' or 'one-off cover' babysitter (as a temp nanny or au pair), or a pet-house sitter, for your children, pets or home, or if you need a full or part-time cover on an 'ongoing, occasional, ad hoc' basis, either short, medium or long-term (from a few days/weeks a few months or a year+), within ca. 130-mile radius from my location.

In fact, anywhere in the UK and abroad can be possible, as I am a mobile temp babysitter.

1) ABOUT MY SERVICES

I am already a working professional running my own business, so a temporary or emergency cover such as an evening, a weekend, a few hours/days/nights or a week, a fortnight or a month or two is mainly what I offer, either at a short notice or arranged more in advance. Also, a 'little long temporary' cover for some weeks or 2, 3 or 4 months or more (full or part-time) could be arranged, and I could consider long-term placements (6 months, a year+ etc.)

For your ca. 3-day/1-week + childminding needs or for your trips abroad, any UK location can be OK, since I am a mobile temp nanny/au pair babysitter. (Accommodation/travel costs apply if far from my location.)

I am also a carer and travel PA/baggage assistant/chaperon/care escort, available for your family trips/holidays if you had lots of luggage so need help with carrying your suitcases/bags or disability care needs (wheelchair, washing/dressing/packing etc.).

As a self-employed professional, I have a carer/babysitter insurance, DBS and full driving licence with my own cars. (I've a car in London and a car in Yorkshire.)

3) ABOUT ME

I am a Yorkshire and London-based woman, lifelong non-smoker and tea total, UK passport and driving licence (full manual/automatic, no driving penalty points ever) with my own car (with baby/child car seats), DBS and references, nanny/carer public liability insurance, settled with my partner for decades, a self-employed professional (hospitality/creative/care industries), speaking English with basic knowledge of some European languages, very fit/active into healthy lifestyle (taking up work with 4am start/16-hour shifts, fitness training etc.), reliable/punctual and operationally efficient in client delivery, several qualifications to postgraduate research/doctorate level.

My vehicle: I can take up to seven children at a time in my car for school run, and also carry wheelchairs and buggies.

In addition to babysitting: I can take your children to after-school sports/arts clubs (I teach swimming and cello/violin/piano) and I can help to prepare meals for your children (heating up if you’ve already cooked). I can also help with your cat litter/feeding, dog walking, grocery shopping and cleaning/tidying up the house.

4) MY EXPERIENCE

CHILDREN: I have done babysitting for clients of varying stages of development (from infants up to 15 years of age). I also have experience of SEN children/adults as an education professional and childminder/carer.

PETS: I am a lifelong cat owner and experienced cat sitter/fosterer for other people's or lost/homeless cats, both with home visits (where the cat lives) and cat-boarding (clients' cats being cared for at my home). I have also walked dogs for owners. If dogs, please contact me for more information. For other pets (rabbits, birds, fish, other animals etc.), I am happy to look after your pets while you are away.

HOMES: I have housesat with daily/weekly visits and for prolonged stays overnight for someone to be present for your home's security as a house sitter.

5) YOUR/MY LOCATIONS (YORKSHIRE/NORTH, LONDON/SOUTH, UK AND TRIPS ABROAD TO OTHER COUNTRIES)

(For the South, please see my London ad for the locations that I cover. In fact, if you need a temp nanny/au pair for ca. 3 days/1 week +, or for trips abroad, you can be anywhere in UKI - even Plymouth, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Belfast, Dublin etc.)

In Yorkshire/North, I am near Campsall (near Leeds, South Yorkshire).

In theory, I could drive even over 2-hour driving one-way from near Campsall to come to your home. I can often work around my clients’ needs (with location/timing) as I can be flexible.

You can be based anywhere within ca. 130-mile radius from Campsall. (Doncaster, Sheffield, Leeds, York, Hull, Lincoln, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Stoke, Manchester, Liverpool, Blackburn, Middlesbrough, Durham. etc.)

Occasionally, I can consider afar such as Birmingham, Newcastle etc., or for a 3-day + hire, anywhere in the UK.

If you need temp babysitting/childminding abroad on trips to other countries (holidays, family events etc.), I can be available.

6) MY RATES FOR BABYSITTING, PET SITTING AND HOUSE SITTING

My rates are £15.00 per hour. For long-distance driving from Campsall, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, or for trips abroad, or for daily, nightly, weekly or monthly rates, or to discuss your personal needs/situation, please contact me.

For Yorkshire and the North, the following minimum hours' charges may apply depending on your distance from me (near Campsall):

Over 5 miles distance: Minimum 2 hours' service chargeable.
Over 10 miles distance: Minimum 3 hours' service chargeable.
Over 15 miles distance: Minimum 4 hours' service chargeable.

Distances of over 20 miles from near Campsall may incur travel costs payable at 0.30p per mile (less than HMRC mileage rate up to 10,000 miles) to cover my return travel. For example, if you are in Manchester (64 miles from Campsall, 128 miles return travel), £38.40 travel cost may be chargeable.

8) EXAMPLES OF YOU NEEDING ME AS YOUR TEMPORARY, EMERGENCY OR AD HOC COVER BABYSITTER, PET/HOUSE SITTER

Here are examples of what you may be in need of that I could do for you:

A) You already have a nanny or your parents look after your kids when you're at work, but they are ill and can't do tomorrow/next week, so you need a last-minute, temp babysitter for a few nights to come to your home to be with your child all day at your home (if baby/toddler), or take your children to school, pick them up from school to come home and be with them until you come home in the evening.

B) You booked a holiday abroad for you, your children and your nanny/au pair, but your babysitter suddenly had to fly away (due to family in hospital etc.), or your usual babysitter is on a 2-week annual leave agreed in advance, and you now have to take your children abroad for something urgent (family emergency etc.) at a short notice, either for a few nights/few weeks or even a month or more, leaving you needing an emergency nanny/au pair to travel with your family to another country.

(Yes, I could be away that long, for a few weeks or even a month or two.)

C) You usually stay home, but just tomorrow night, or for a few days this/next week, you have to be out the whole morning or from 6pm till after midnight (because of a job interview, a date, a concert/event, an important meeting, a family/friends do etc.), so you need a one-off babysitter to be there for your children.

D) You have a baby and a 3-year old (or an 8-year old and a 13-year old etc.), and you suddenly have to travel one-off to Scotland for a weekend, or you have to fly out of the UK on business unexpectedly for a week, so you need someone to be home 24 hours a day as an emergency au pair (to sleep over somewhere at your home that you can provide/arrange) for a few nights to look after your children while you are away, or (if early to mid-teenagers) an emergency nanny staying overnight from each afternoon until breakfast time for a few nights with daily visits, staying over at your home during night time.

E) You usually always work from home and manage childcare yourself, but you've been told by your employer that starting next week or next month, you could have to be out on sites for the whole morning or afternoon once or twice a week, or you could have to be sent abroad for a couple of nights for client meetings once or twice a month, so you now need to find a babysitter or pet sitter on an on-going yet occasional, ad-hoc basis.
