Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in the organisation and setup of workstations before service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
Ensure food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to
Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed throughout shifts
Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to maintain smooth operations

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles, ideally within a restaurant setting
Strong understanding of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Previous experience serving customers or working in a hospitality environment is advantageous
