Kitchen Porter - Bakery

Description

Our client is an an artisanal stone oven bakery from Scandenavia. What they do is simple, but far from the ordinary. They use fresh, natural ingredients and traditional methods to make artisanal pastries and sourdough bread. After a success of opening 20 shops since 2008 back home in Stockholm, they have been captivating London’s hearts with their bread and cinnamon buns. Our client now have 5 shops in London, and 1 in New York. They are currently looking to recruit a Kitchen Porter to join their team. This is a Full Time 40 Hours a week, Permanent appointment.

Job description

- Doing dishes both for the bakery and the café’s

- Cleaning both in the bakery and the café’s

- Doing laundry (washing work clothes for both the bakery and the 5 stores around London)

- Helping the bakers out when needed, e.g. bringing/lifting flour bags (that can weigh up to 25 kg)

- Based in Hoxton site
