Role: Private Chef

Days of Work: Monday - Thursday

Location: West London

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 gross per year pro rata

Start: ASAP

We are recruiting for an experienced Chef to join a very busy family who are based in West London.

The family enjoy a variety of dishes so the chef must have a broad knowledge of worldwide cuisines and all round experience in creating seasonal menus with the Chief of Staff. They would like you to create healthy dishes and introduce new recipes that are exciting with lots of flavour but also be able to deliver their favourite dishes very well. You must be aware of all dietary requirements with an excellent knowledge of plant based, low carb, oil free, pescatarian dishes.

You must also be used to the last minute changes that come with the territory of a private household. The role will suit a Chef who is relaxed but professional at all times with the family and their guests with a positive, upbeat attitude!

You will always ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy throughout the day, all utensils are washed and sterilised before and after use and to generally have exceptional hygiene awareness. You must be super organised and detail orientated with good planning skills and strong communication skills.

You will be working within a fully staffed environment so prior experience working in a team is essential.

Have a clean driver’s licence
Have a valid DBS check or be willing to get one
Have excellent contactable references
Have 5+ years experience working as a Chef within a private household
Be highly discreet and professional
