Chef – Chinese Cuisine – £55k to £60k – Monday to Friday
Southwest London
Mon to Friday 8 am – 4 pm
Full-time 45 hr per week contract
Salary to £60,000 per annum
Chinese Language Skills Essential
Role
Join a Chinese Corporate Dining Kitchen in Southwest London as a Production Kitchen Chef - You will support the Head Chef in preparing high-quality corporate lunches for 120 people daily. Menus are based on high-end traditional Chinese Cuisine, and therefore we require previous experience working with 5* regional Chinese cuisines, such as Cantonese, Sichuan, Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hunan, Anhui, Fujian etc. Much of the kitchen team speaks only Chinese, therefore you must be proficient in either Mandarin or Cantonese.
Key Duties
To support the day-to-day kitchen operations
Food preparation
Hand-on cooking
Requirements
At least 3+ years’ experience in high-quality commercial kitchens
Strong proficiency in working with authentic high-quality regional Chinese cuisines
You must speak Chinese, either Cantonese or Mandarin
Occasional evening requirement for special events
Benefits
Salary c£60,000, negotiable per experience
