Arts & Crafts Morris Celtic Knot Spinning Bedroom Decorative Carved Chair Heart

A solid Beech wood Arts & Crafts style spinning chair which dates from around 1910. It features a tall angled back support with a pierced hand carved trefoil and a Celtic knot work running up the back support and around the octagonal shaped seat. It has 4 turned legs that reflect the turns on a traditional spinning wheel and it is sturdy and there is a hand craved floral star design on the seat with ridge carving around the seat edge as can be seen in the close up photographs. 

The chair measures 87cm's in height x 28cm's in width x 38cm's in depth. The seat height measures 33cm's.
