Description
1 week on, 1 week off, occasionally 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, £1000 per working week. Must be self-employed and able to invoice us. To start asap.
Live-in care in Colchester for a unique elderly man who needs overnight and morning care 10pm to 12 midday. Some nights and mornings he requires very little assistance, other nights you may be up several times to help with toiletting, managing falls - we have Helpline - and emotional distress. The routine for getting up takes up to 1 hour and can happen any time 8am-11am, then breakfast and a short walk in the garden. There’s some light housework and laundry to do in the mornings. Experience using BBC Sounds would be a bonus, as well as an interest in politics and history. The most important skills for this role are kindness and patience.
