Live-in care role to work 2 weeks on / 6 weeks off.

I'm a 40 year old woman living in Haywards Heath, with good train links (about 55 mins from central London and 15 minutes to Gatwick airport). I have a spinal cord injury (tetraplegic) which means I am full time wheelchair user and need need live-in care support to assist me with daily tasks. I'm friendly, work within the charity sector, have some busy days and some very chilled, and completely understand that my carers are not robots and prefer it when we can find common interests! :)

I live with my partner and small dog, within a short walking distance to the town and train station.

Full driving licence needed - to drive my car.

Duties of the role include personal care (catheters, washing, dressing, for example), cooking, some cleaning, assisted transfers, and other tasks as required. My days vary but I usually get up about 7.30am and sleep at 10pm.

You will be entitled to paid holiday, full clinical training, and will be joining a team of 3 other PAs working the same working pattern.

No previous experience in care is necessary. Being female is preferable due to the intimate nature of care work.

The first shift required to work is 2rd - 17th May (but it would be great to do a shaadow 24-48hr periodc before then so you can see what the role involves and we get to meet).
