Description
Autosleeper conversion with 49,000 genuine miles.
Registered as Historic so MOT & tax,ulez etc exempt
Solid underneath,the only welding in ten years was a hole under the drivers left foot.
Headlamp relay mod with new light units,amazing difference.
Wiper mod to enable intermittent wipe.
Refurbed Pierburg carb from Bromyard (£600).
Completely gutted the rear interior & replaced carpeting & foam cushions & replaced all the rotten wood in the roof & headlining.
Front tailor made seat covers & carpets imported from the states.
Just had an off the system MOT carried & only points were a bit of oil misting on the engine,o/s/f brake binding a bit & one of the screen washers is a bit pathetic.
Loads of work done on brakes,steering & suspension.
Bad bits -
The paint needs attention as faded & crazed quite badly in the sun.
Occaisional bit of smoke from the exhaust as some berk put about £15 of diesel in before i realised what I'd done,thanks BP for making your premium diesel light green!!.
