Here we have our first Mazda Bongo for sale. We bought it about 5 years ago and have had many good times in it! It's a 95 N reg 2.5 diesel 4x4 auto with 146,500 km on it (or ~91,000 miles) with a converter that means the speedo reads in mph (though the odometer still reads in km). 4 good tyres and It's pretty clean on the outside with the exception of the rear arches which are going to need some attention in the not too distant future. It's had some welding done to sort out sills in the last few years as well as CV boots, front lower wishbones, a new battery (though it does still lose charge if left for an extended period- I blame the alarm that we don't use but I've never been brave enough to try and rip out). No issues with overheating and oil checked regularly and topped up when needed (it does use a little oil but not excessive).

The interior previously had a mid conversion and top cupboard on the drivers side but basically we've bought a slightly newer van and transferred everything across to that one. That means that a couple of the interior panels have some screw holes in them from where the conversion used to be- perfect if you want to throw in your own conversion of course! I've removed the seatbelts and seats from our new van and put them in this one (ok, the middle seats don't quite match but they're pretty close!) so what you have is an 8 seat minibus where the rear 6 seats can be folded flat to make a double bed, arranged to give a nice little seating area using the reversed front seats as well, and of course the auto free top complete with a mattress that sleeps two 'upstairs'.

There's space for a leisure battery under the bonnet but we've never fitted one and never found a need for it.

It's currently SORNed but is MOT'd until the 28th March so can be driven away once insurance and tax is sorted.

Overall it's obviously not perfect and will need a bit of TLC but the parts for these are readily available and generally pretty reasonably priced too so would make a nice little (potentially profitable!) project for someone.

Let me know if you have any questions or would like any more information.
