Description

Hi there, here we have my 2000 model Cagiva Planet 125 (raptor 125) looking for £1000 - bike will be sold with V5 documents, keys and a full years M.O.T.

The bike is a tidy example, although has some age related marks and scuffs as you would expect on a near 17 year old learner legal bike. 16'894km on the clock which is just below 10'500 GENUINE miles.
The bike starts of the button, as it should, and sounds great (no piston slap, blown exhausts or anything of the sort)
Has a decent set of tyres on it with a good amont of life left in them.
Brembo 4 pot caliper on the front and a brembo single pot caliper on the back with braided hoses front and back so the braking is phenomenal in comparison to other 125's
The bike itself looks and feels much bigger than a 125 especially with the big petrol tank squeezed between your knees which is intentional as it is meant to look like a ducati monster/cagiva raptor 1000 as cagiva and ducati have some sort of dealings with one another being ran by the castiglioni brothers.
Anyone who knows a bit about their bikes will know that this is an apprecieted rare bike and is also the sister bike to the Cagiva mito 125 which proudly holds the title of the fastest 125's on the roads hitting over 100mph standard. And it just so happens that the cagiva planet shares the exact same 6-speed manual engine with the C.T.S. powervalve as the mito does. This bike is standard although is derestricted. Like any of the old 125 2-strokes, this bike will make short work of out accelerating and achieving a higher top speed than the likes of todays fastest modern 4 stroke 125's such as the cbr125 and the yzf r125 (You will find evidence of this on youtube) The only downside is that they guzzle a bit more fuel than a 4 stroke :(

For ANY questions about the bike please don't hesitate to get in touch to Matt via email or preferably mobile on 07475007327 im often busy through the day so if you cant reach me through call leave a text and i'll get back to you asap. Thanks for looking, in the mean time my advice is to study the pictures closely as this is the best way of seeing the condition of this piece of italian beauty, i am going to get some day time pictures up asap as unfortunately i was running out of hours whilst taking the pics. Thanks again, Matt.
