Description

Containing monthly serialisations from March 30, to September 21, 1861

This book is a first edition of the serialised works conducted by Charles Dickens. "All The Year Round" was a Victorian periodical of a weekly literary magazine founded and owned by Charles Dickens. It was serialised between 1859 and 1895 throughout the United Kingdom. Edited by Dickens, it was the direct successor to his previous publication Household Words. There is a wealth of information about this set of works online.

This book is bound in the original publisher's cloth. It's in fair to good condition with no spine lean. Small inscription to first end-paper. The spine states 'Vol Vl' although the title page states 'Volume V' - this only adds to the books Victorian charm and is typical of the printers and book binders of the day who often made mistakes which sometimes added value to a first edition.

Internally its in good condition throughout. A piece of history and something fine to look after for the next generation and something that will only gain in value.
