About this client/child:

Zach is soon to be 9 years old, and his younger sister Ava is almost 6! The children are full of energy, inquisitive, keen to learn, and love playing at the local park. Zach enjoys Hockey, Football, Swing Tennis, music and board games, and Ava loves reading, yoga, creative and imaginative play. Zach is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition, as a result, he requires support with his social communication skills. Zach attends a mainstream school setting, he receives 1:1 support and is progressing very well. He works extremely hard and has input from a SALT and OT. The family require a SEN Nanny/Manny with autism experience and oodles of energy to support the children after school and during school holidays.

Overview of role:

The SEN Nanny/Manny will complete school pickups, accompany the children to afterschool clubs and activities, provide fun, engaging, stimulating and developmental play and experiences, assist with homework and arrange/support play dates and day trips (adhering to Government Covid-19 regulations). This is a collaborative role, working in both a sole charge and shared care role alongside Mum. Typical nursery duties included, as well as food and snack prep. The SEN Nanny/Manny will be willing to pitch in as and when required to keep family life running smoothly.

Who this job would suit:

A proactive, energetic, and charismatic SEN Nanny/Manny who enjoys being active and exploring the outdoors. You will have a keen interest in seeing children thrive and flourish in all areas of their development, and bring in new ideas, techniques, and strategies. The SEN Nanny/Manny will be reliable, organised, flexible, communicate well with the family, and use their own initiative. For this role, it is essential that you are a non-smoker/vaper.

What’s great about this job:

This role will enable you to use your current skill set and gain further experience. The children are a pleasure to work with and support and this role offers a permanent contract. The hours will enable you to have a great work-life balance.
