A lovely family based in Hayes are seeking an experienced live in nanny / housekeeper to care for their two children, aged 6 and 9 years old, while helping with the general upkeep of their three-bedroom home. This is a varied role suited to a warm, reliable and proactive candidate who enjoys combining childcare with household responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for school-aged children and be confident managing morning, school and after-school routines. They should also be organised and happy to take responsibility for general housekeeping, laundry and light meal preparation. Occasional weekend support may be required by prior arrangement. Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

providing attentive and nurturing care for the children
supporting the children’s morning and evening routines
helping the children get ready for school
school drop-offs and collections when required
preparing healthy breakfasts, snacks and simple meals
assisting with homework, reading and school projects
organising fun and age-appropriate activities
taking the children to clubs, activities and appointments when required
supporting bath time and evening routines
keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
laundry and ironing
making beds and changing bed linen
organising children’s clothing, school uniforms and belongings
maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
washing up and tidying after meals
running occasional household errands when required
providing occasional weekend support when needed and agreed in advance
ensuring the home remains clean, organised and running smoothly
