Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 45-55 hours per week

A family in Henfield, West Sussex is looking for a reliable and experienced nanny housekeeper to join them on a full-time basis. The role combines childcare with household support, ensuring both children and the home are well cared for. The family has a 21-month-old and a 10-year-old, so the role requires someone confident in caring for toddlers while also supporting with routines and activities for an older child.

The family is open for both live in and live out candidates and someone who can drive is essential for this role. A private self-contained annexe is available for the live in candidate. Someone pet-friendly is ideal for this role.

Duties include:

caring for the toddler throughout the day, including meals, naps, and play
taking the toddler to nursery and local toddler groups
planning age-appropriate and engaging activities
supporting the older child after school and during school holidays
preparing healthy meals for the children and occasional batch cooking for the family
tidying play areas and managing children’s laundry, clothing, and supplies
handling family laundry and changing bed linens
keeping the kitchen and communal areas clean and tidy
hoovering, mopping, dusting, and general cleaning
emptying / loading the dishwasher and general daily upkeep
managing diaries, appointments, and coordinating weekly routines
communicating with parents to ensure smooth daily planning
travelling with the family for holidays (twice per year, arranged in advance)
taking sole charge of the children and household when both parents are away

Requirements:

Current Paediatric First Aid

Current Enhanced DBS

UK Work Permit

Valid Driver’s License
