Description

Drop -in Painting & drawing class takes place at The Engine Room every Wednesday evening from 7pm till 9 pm.

The address is : The Engine Room, Unit A, Eagle Heights, Lebus street, Hale Village, N17 9FU

Cost is £8 including all materials (acrylic, watercolours, pastels, brushes, paper) and tuition.

Tutor: Joanna Pilarczyk Radecka

This class is suitable for beginners and more advanced artists. Students will learn about the fundamental techniques of drawing and painting such as line, shading, colour mixing, composition and scale. They will achieve an understanding of form by first learning to draw different shapes and objects from still life and reference pictures. Then they will start working in paint and learn about colour mixing techniques, colour values, and painting application techniques. Students will be introduced to various medias as graphite, charcoal, chalk pastel, oil pastel, watercolour, and and acrylic.
