Description
A charming Victorian commode chair made from solid mahogany with beautifully curved detailing and turned legs. It features a carpeted step front, and retains its original ceramic chamber pot inside. The top lifts to reveal the commode, and the lid has lovely aged patina. There are signs of wear, including chipped veneer on the front and a worn spot on the step fabric, but structurally it's solid and functional. A rare period piece with great character, ideal as a decorative antique or quirky accent seat. Dimensions: L 46 x D 42 x H 43 cm
