This is a fabulous and decorative Ancient Greek-style krater vase.
It is a museum copy of a circa 600 BC ancient original.
The impressive piece is hand-painted in historical scenes with men on horseback, thought to be those of the ancient heroes, Achilles and Aias.
The rims and circumference are painted with geometric patterns.
Of a wonderful ''aged'' patina, retaining the metal museum/factory seal.
