Rare Antique George Jones Crescent & Sons Porcelain - 2 Triangular Dishes Pattern A2635

Extremely rare pattern and design. During our research we have been unable to find any other plates with this design, although this doesn't mean that there aren't others in existence still.

Features:
- decorated with scattering of gilt fishes and seaweed
- gilded borders on a cream-white background
- each plate is individual in design
- Triangular dish Rd No 270717
- Registered number dates them from 1896
- 1993 Antiques and Fine Art Valuation dated circa 1910
- Hand painted number on back of each item A2635

Dimensions (approximate): 22 cm on each edge x 5 cm tall

Pre-owned - Used condition commensurate with age:
- On triangular dish 1 the gilding has rubbed away slightly in places particularly on the more solid areas and there is a small chip to the underside of one corner, otherwise in good condition.
- Triangular dish 2 has a scratch in the glazing inside the dish, otherwise looks to be in good order.

This item is part of the Estate sale of a late relative.
