Georgian Military Campaign Writing Slope, dating to the late 18th or early 19th century.
These portable writing boxes were essential for officers during military campaigns.
Made of solid mahogany, it features brass banding, corner protectors, and a cartouche.
It opens to reveal a writing surface, and storage compartments.
