Description

A genuine framed and glazed copy of LANGLEY’S NEW MAP OF KENT from Langley’s New County Atlas of England and Wales published in the 1820's.
A copper engraved and hand-coloured map. There is a vignette view of hop picking in the top right corner [as you look at it] and another of ploughing with a distant view of a dock yard In the bottom left. Underneath the map is the publishers imprint:” Printed and Published by Langley & Belch, No. 173 High Street, Borough”. In excellent condition. Overall size 16 ½ x 13 inches. Size of map 11 x 8 inches.
