🐾 Doggy Day Care Assistant / Driver (Morning or Afternoon Shift) 🐾

📍 Alicia’s House of Paws – South Edinburgh

We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable people to join our small, friendly team caring for our wonderful daycare dogs.

If you genuinely love dogs, enjoy being outdoors, like keeping busy and take pride in doing a great job, we’d love to hear from you.

This isn’t just playing with puppies (although there’s plenty of that too!). It’s a varied, hands-on role where you’ll help provide exceptional care for our daycare dogs while delivering outstanding customer service to their owners.

🐶 What you’ll be doing

🐾 Collecting and dropping off dogs safely using our company van

🐾 Supervising dogs throughout the day, ensuring they’re safe, happy and having the best day possible

🐾 Reinforcing basic training and good manners

🐾 Keeping the daycare clean, organised and safe

🐾 Communicating professionally with customers and colleagues

⏰ Shift Patterns

Monday to Thursday

We’re currently recruiting for two permanent shift patterns:

🌅 Morning Shift

7:00am – 2:00pm (28 hours per week)

🌇 Afternoon Shift

11:00am – 6:00pm (28 hours per week)

Please tell us in your application whether you’re interested in the morning shift, the afternoon shift, or would be happy to work either.

Aiming to start from August, flexible start date.

🐾 We’re looking for someone who is:

✔ Reliable and punctual

✔ Calm, patient and confident around dogs

✔ Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all weather

✔ Friendly, professional and enjoys providing excellent customer service

✔ A genuine team player who’s happy to muck in wherever needed

✔ Technically confident and comfortable using mobile apps and online systems throughout the working day

✔ Takes pride in doing a great job and enjoys being part of a supportive team

✔ Looking for a stable, long-term role

A full UK driving licence is essential.
