Management Accountant

Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a well-established sports media and events company, specialising in promoting and producing live sporting events across a wide range of disciplines.

As a Management Accountant, you will be supporting multi-entity reporting and driving insightful financial analysis for operational and strategic decisions. This full-time permanent role offers a salary range of GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 with discretionary bonus and benefits.

You will be responsible for:

Producing quarterly management accounts and related schedules for individual entitiesPreparing post-event budget vs actual reports with clear, actionable commentaryCollaborating with operations to identify variances, risks, and opportunitiesAssisting with external audit preparation and follow-upCarrying out project-based financial analysis and reporting as requiredEnhancing financial systems and reporting processesPresenting financial insights clearly to non-financial colleaguesEnsuring alignment with group financial controls and governance policies

What we are looking for:

Previously worked as a Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, Company Accountant, Group Accountant, Finance Manager, Finance Business Partner, Commercial Accountant, Financial Analyst, Reporting Accountant or in a similar role.Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)Recent experience in management accounting, preferably across group or multi-entity structuresPossess experience financial reportingConfident using Excel Experience with accounting systems and BI tools is a plusSelf-starter with a proactive, hands-on attitudeStrong communicator, able to engage effectively across teams
