A UK manufacturing business with an international customer base is seeking a Head of Finance to lead its finance function. The company supplies specialist products and has built a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation.

This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial control, reporting, and compliance, while supporting business planning and decision-making. The role includes managing and developing a small finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accountsContribution to budgets, forecasts, and business planningOversight of statutory accounts preparation for relevant entitiesManagement of purchase and sales ledger operationsSupport for tax compliance including VAT, Corporation Tax, and P11DsMonthly payroll and pension administrationMentoring and developing team members

Key Skills & Experience:

Strong financial reporting and analytical skillsExperience in budgeting and financial planningExcellent organisational and leadership abilitiesQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by ExperienceConfident communicator able to present financial information clearly to stakeholders
