Graduate Tax Associate

Location: Leeds

Salary: GBP27,500 + Discretionary Bonus

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week (9:30 AM 4:30 PM)

Benefits: Hybrid working, 23 days plus stats annual leave and birthday off

Our client, a leading specialist tax advisory firm in Leeds, is expanding its team and is on the lookout for a motivated Graduate Tax Associate. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates, career changers, or junior professionals eager to advance in the tax field.

Conduct research on current tax legislation. Prepare and write detailed tax advice reports and supporting computations. Maintain and manage client databases, ensuring GDPR compliance. Assist with ad hoc tax projects as required. Stay updated on tax law changes to demonstrate strong commercial awareness. Contribute to marketing efforts by writing blogs, managing social media, and attending networking events. Prepare and submit tax returns. Monitor and manage client billing processes. About You:

Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Previous experience in tax or accounting is a plus, but not essential. Qualifications:

A minimum of a 2:1 degree (preferably in law, accounting, economics, or business-related fields). GCSE English and Maths at grade B/6 or above. Three A-levels at grade B or above.
