As a Semi-Senior Accountant, your role will involve:

Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies (to draft stage)Handling general bookkeeping including sales/purchase invoices, bank reconciliations, and transaction processingDrafting VAT returnsAttending client meetings and building relationshipsOptional involvement in audits Resolving ad-hoc client queriesSupporting the training of junior team member. What You ll Bring

Experience preparing accounts and bookkeepingConfidence in client communicationAbility to manage deadlines and work collaborativelyStrong attention to detailCurrently studying towards ACCA, ACA, or ICAEWA full UK driving licence is preferred This would really suit someone moving from a smaller firm and looking to gain exposure to a broader client base and more structured development.
