Accounts Assistant

Bright Selection are working with a luxury care provider to appoint an Accounts Assistant to support their growing team.

The position is on-site but offers flexibility for full or part-time hours, including school hours.

The Role

This is a hands-on position offering exposure across all areas of transactional finance. You'll play an important part in ensuring accuracy, efficiency and integrity across the company's financial operations.

Key responsibilities include:

Processing purchase and sales invoices and managing payment runsSupporting payroll and maintaining up-to-date employee and payment recordsCompleting bank reconciliation and resolving ledger queriesAssisting with month-end reporting and management accounts preparationWorking collaboratively with internal teams to maintain smooth financial processesSupporting the development of systems and procedures as the organisation grows

Ideal candidate

We're seeking a detail-focused, proactive Accounts Assistant who enjoys working within a small, friendly finance team. You'll be confident handling a varied workload and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Essential skills and experience:

Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance roleWorking knowledge of SageExcellent attention to detail and numerical accuracyStrong organisational and communication skillsAAT qualified or studying towards AAT
