GCSE / A level Sociology Tutor over summer

Description

I am taking bookings for online tutoring sessions over the summer holidays, designed to help students build confidence, strengthen their subject knowledge, and prepare for success in the next academic year.

With 10 years of teaching experience and a proven track record of achieving excellent results, I have successfully helped students make significant progress, including improving from an E grade to a B grade / grade 1 to a grade 6.

What to expect:
✅ Lessons delivered online via Microsoft Teams
✅ 1-hour sessions – £45 or 1 hour 30 minutes – £55 (where additional time is beneficial)
✅ All resources and homework provided to reinforce learning between sessions
✅ Personalised teaching tailored to each student's individual needs

At the start of tuition, I will work with students to RAG rate (Red, Amber, Green) the curriculum to identify the topics they find most challenging. This allows us to create a targeted learning plan and focus on the areas that will have the greatest impact.

Each lesson is carefully structured and will typically include:
Knowledge recall to strengthen long-term memory and understanding.
Application of knowledge through exam-style questions.
Development of exam technique and confidence.

In addition, I offer dedicated sessions focused on:
