*I have been residing in Valencia,Spain Since Jan 2022 and have decided to open up my tuition for the summer period to those looking to either get started in Spanish or improve upon their existing skills due to success I've had in tutoring in Spanish over the last 3 years*


Over the past 3 years I've been working as a private tutor helping student's reach their maximum potential by delivering both online and in person tutoring in a relaxed informal environment.

I strive to make the material interesting and my aim for the tutee is that my enthusiasm for learning is something we will both share as the lessons progress!.

A bit about me:
I am a 20 year old aero-mechanical engineering student who has been tutoring students in National 5 and Higher STEM subjects since august 2019 when I first started university.This job is extremely rewarding for me as it means i can share the same knowledge that allowed me to get 16 grade A's in high school only a few years ago.I believe my young age puts me at an advantage when it comes to offering tuition as it means I am able to relate to students and motivate them to work towards getting whatever grade they desire in their chosen subject.

for the space enthusiasts out there I was lucky enough to be chosen from over 550 candidates across the whole of the country to attend a 10 day learning journey to NASA Johnson Space Center through the University of Strathclyde's Scottish Space School.This is a program which I am a great advocate for and always encourage any of the tutee's studying higher maths or physics to apply for.

My approach:
I am able to explain difficult concepts in a succinct, unique way that allows students to fully understand the content of the course.I don't believe that simply knowing how to put numbers into a formula is enough knowledge for students - I always strive to explain the meaning behind the numbers (mainly the case for physics and a bit of chemistry) as this means that in an exam they are able to think clearly and will be confident in their knowledge.

I primarily aim to increase the student’s confidence in their ability to tackle questions which are perceived to be more difficult as I find that there can be a mental block for students when they are presented with a challenging question but because their confidence isn’t there they instinctively decide that these marks are inaccessible to them and then they don’t attempt the question, I want my students to not be put off by questions which, upon first glance, seem more difficult. I will give my students a strategy which can be applied to a wide range of problems and this will help them break down these questions and subsequently gain top marks.

The tuition will be online this summer, most likely via zoom since I am currently residing in Spain.
