Dear Parents,
My name is Derek, I provide 1 to 1 tuition services for pupils in Maths, The Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics), and Geography, from primary school up to GCSE Level. Including 11+.
I am a chemical engineering graduate from University College London, who achieved level 9 (A*) in GCSE maths, biology, physics and chemistry, and a 7 (A) in Geography. I also have 2 years experience in tutoring, Including over a year at AE Tuition. I also helped my brother prepare for his GCSEs, who achieved Level 9 in Maths, 8 (A+) in the Sciences, and 7 In Geography
I attribute these successes to understanding how each child works, breaking down concepts in an engaging way so they can gain a solid understanding and achieve their full potential. While giving them monthly tests and homework to track their progress and weak points to focus on.
For those at College/6th Form Level, I also offer mentoring and advisory services for those applying to university, helping them through the UCAS process so they can get into their dream university and course.
My Prices are as follows:
KS2(Year 3 - 6) £18 per hour
11+ £22 per hour
KS3(Year 7 - 9) £25 per hour
GSCE (Year 10 - 11) £30 per hour
University Application Mentorship: £25 per hour
