Projects Manager role
Our client is a well-established and respected Building and Refurbishment company based in Leeds and are looking to add an experienced Construction Contracts/Projects Manager to their team, reporting directly to the Operations Director.
Working in various sectors including Leisure, Education, Retail, Public Sector, Refurbishment, New Build and Social Housing.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced contracts/projects manager, with an aspiration to progress within a Business, to join a growing company and help mould the next stages of their business growth & strategy.
Previous experience overseeing multiple construction projects is essential. Due to the nature of the business, you will need to have experience of running contracts on both a fast track and ongoing basis, ranging from values of £50k through to £4m.
The Role will include;
Pre-planning projects Programming and scheduling of projects Sub-Contractor allocating Internal Labour allocating Managing of Site Managers/Foremen Regular progress meetings with Operational Director Keeping client(s) regularly updated. Ensuring the smooth running and handover of various contracts at the same time
You will ideally have the following:
· Experience in a Construction Contracts/Projects Manager role
· Construction related degree
· Interpersonal and relationship building skills
· Time management skills
Very Good IT Skills The ability to report coherently to senior management and clients on a weekly basis.
