The British Medical Acupuncture Society is looking to recruit two Admin Assistants for general office administration, processing course bookings and updating member/course delegate records on a bespoke membership database.   Assisting in the production of the monthly membership e-newsletter and updating of social media channels and coordinating member CPD submissions.  To provide support to the BMAS membership and help in the provision of courses.

We are looking for people with the following:  Experience of MS Word (experience of MS Excel an advantage), Experienced in office administration (essential), a good working knowledge of social media platforms, an understanding and interest in communications, forums and newsletters and the physical ability to pack/unpack and manhandle boxes of course materials. 

Main tasks of job are to:  Update and maintain membership and course booking details on bespoke database; Prepare and send course booking confirmation and membership renewal emails; Facilitate in the production of monthly e-newsletter; Update and advertise on Facebook page; Provide support in preparation of all courses; Attend one half day per weekend (approx. 7 per annum) to assist with reception and provision of refreshments; Clinic Reception duties, as required; Answer telephone calls in a professional manner; Provide support in general administration of the office as required; Maintain health and safety standards within the office.

Hours: 24 hours per week over 3.5 days (Must be able to work a Monday or Friday)
