Job Level

We are looking for a full time grain store employee who also holds a Class 1 HGV licence. The job is based at our storage facility near Royston, Hertfordshire, where we commercially store 140,000t for the trade and local farmers. We also run a modern fleet of bulk tippers which transport grain to store and end users, along with sugar beet to British Sugar factories across East Anglia.

Duties to include:

Grainstore - Loading lorries, tipping lorries, moving grain, store temperature control, store maintenance, general yard maintenance and other duties as required - during the peak harvest period, long hours will be required

Relief HGV Driving - To cover four full time drivers' annual leave, plus weekend driving in the sugarbeet campaign

Key requirements:

Class 1 HGV licence, digicard and driver CPC

Telehandler ticket

Loading shovel ticket preferred

On site accommodation available if required, hours/ salary/ rate of pay to be negotiated upon application
