Bookkeeping role including payroll, Vat and accounts prep

You will be working in a thoroughly modern thinking Management Accounting Practice where you will get lots of variety.
The role will encompass general bookkeeping (using Xero in the main), Payroll, VAT returns (both manual and using software). Also, possibly some accounts preparation work from bookkeeping records (software packages or on excel spreadsheets).
As it is a small accounting practice there is a need for flexibility and the willingness to muck in and help the rest of the team as appropriate, there are no prima donna’s here!
The applicant will work in a fast-paced environment and will have the necessary skills /attitude to hit the ground running if at all possible. However, it would also suit a returned to work after having a family who wants to refresh on xero skills but has the right can do positive and friendly attitude.
Ideally with Xero experience would definitely give you an advantage but also must have MS office experience (Word, Excel and outlook). Digita experience would also be a real bonus.
The role is based at our offices on the 1st Floor in Hale, Altrincham and will ideally be 3 days a week but we would consider being flexible on this but must be able to do Monday and Tuesday full days from 9 to 5 ish may possibly be able to be flexible on start/end times for the right candidate.
