Head of Sales
Due to company growth our client, an international engineering company, is seeking a Head of Sales to manage the sale of the company portfolio of products globally. To ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel, identifying objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales.
Your remit will include:
Responsible for co-ordination of the sales team, setting responsibilities, objectives and monitoring performance and enabling continuous improvement.
Responsible for sales trend analysis, market monitoring, and result tracking.
Manages and assigns geographic sales area or product line to maximise sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
Key account management including distributors and OEM's as required.
Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with account holder.
Accurate reporting and forecasting of annual, quarterly and monthly sales.
Forming sales strategies to keep the Company competitive and innovative.
Collaborate with Directors to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade show expenses.
Foreseeing and avoiding stagnation in the marketplace.
Collaborates with Product Manager to develop sales strategies, product road maps and to improve market share in all product lines.
Serving as a business representative at conferences and tradeshow events.
You will need:
Proven ability to motivate, lead and develop the sales team.
Relevant degree or advanced professional qualification.
Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
Proven ability to drive the sales process.
Demonstrable experience in developing customers.
Excellent communications and presentation skills.
Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
Demonstrable related experience in the measurement sensor & controls sector.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Dynamics CRM or equivalent CRM system.
Current driving license/passport and willingness to travel frequently.
