Sous Chef for Independent & Award Winning Pub in Camden
The Colonel Fawcett are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated chef to work under our head chef, Michael Berry, creating fantastic dishes with great quality ingredients, all from scratch.
This role would suit Junior Sous looking to step up or current Sous Chefs after a new challenge.
Duties including supporting the head chef across the board in designing new menus, controlling food margins, labour control, staff training, maintaining health and safety records. In the absence of our head chef you will be leading up the team during service.
The Colonel Fawcett is a fantastic venue in the back streets of Camden that has won numerous awards in all areas inc. The Observer Food Monthly Best Sunday Roast, Evening Standard Top Three Roasts In London, King Of Camden, Kentishtowner Runner Up Best Lunch and more. The pub itself is independently owned by Tidalwave Bars which is owned by three local thirty somethings.
The pub prides itself on the highest possible service, it's second to none gin selection and its incredible array of beers and ales (we have seventeen beer lines!).
We have a laid back atmosphere with casual dining which can be more formal on Sundays and early weekdays.
