Salary: £39,000 pa (to start)
Working Hrs: 5 Days / 7 Shifts

Offering modern European casual dining at its best & authentic pizza from the wood-fired oven, monthly changing menus offer inspired modern gastro brasserie dining with traditional Roast Lunch on Sundays and Garden Barbecue during summer months – commitment to sourcing from local artisan suppliers and growers. Also popular for private hire.
Kitchen hours: Midday to 10.00pm Mon to Sat (Noon to 9.00pm on Sundays)
Approx. £12,000 to £14,000 weekly net food sales (45% to 50% on Pizza)
Responsible for all aspects of kitchen management, working closely with the General Manager & support of a Sous Chef & kitchen brigade (incl. 2 Pizzaroli)
Monthly menu & daily specials planning incl. costing & specification sheets
Running service, team direction & organisation, maintaining high food quality & service standards
Food ordering, stock management, supplier relations & invoices, weekly stock audits, maintaining 70% GP target
Hiring, team training & development, rostering, personnel files
Due diligence: maintaining Food Safety & HACCP records, maintenance of kitchen & equipment

Salary & Benefits
To start: £34,000 basic salary pa (rising with food sales) & £5,000 annual bonus (paid quarterly)
Permanent contract subject to standard 3 months probationary period; regular performance related salary reviews; courses as required; movement & new openings; progression; workplace pension; 28 days paid annual leave; staff discounts; meals on duty; laundered uniform; FAM trips and team excursions
Approx. 48 to 52 hrs p wk / 7 shifts over 5 days incl. Weekends
