Office Team Leader
CVC Chelmer Valve Co Ltd we are a small electronic component distributor based in Latchingdon Essex. Trading since 1962. Our customer base covers commercial, industrial and military sectors both in the UK and worldwide.
We have a very exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our growing Sales Team:
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing Orders ideally with experience of Sage Line 50 but not essential as training will be given
- Dealing with customer enquires over the phone and via email.
- Preparing quotations.
- Help picking/identifying components.
- Ensuring all customer targets are met.
- Sourcing components using online software to meet customer needs.
- Picking, packing and shipping orders.
- Booking couriers.
- Liaising with freight companies to arrange deliveries and ensuring best price.
- Negotiating best purchase price when sourcing components.
In order to be considered for this job you will need to:
- be organised and self motivated
- be comfortable dealing with customers all over the world via email/phone and also face to face.
- manage time effectively and be able to prioritise tasks
- work well as part of a small team
- be customer focused and enjoy challenges
- enjoy working in a role that is varied and have bags of enthusiasm
- proven office experience
- an interest in Aircraft/Microchips/Electronics would be a bonus
