Assistant Manager Required for Amazing Bristol Pub, Easton
We are looking for an Experienced Assistant Manager for our thriving neighbourhood and community pub The Greenbank, Easton.
We are looking for somebody with a great energy and superior customer service, a bright personality with the ability to lead by example as well as proven experience managing a team and running key shifts successfully.
Due to the nature of the pub, an applicant with strong social media skills and experience in events organising would be preferred.
A good knowledge of craft beer and draft ales is essential, cellar skills highly desirable along with knowledge of wines and spirits. Experience in a fresh food operation would also be advantageous, but personality; and the desire to learn and teach is key.
We are also looking for somebody who has a good knowledge of events planning, to be able to assist the General Manager in organising the many community events on a weekly basis in our current function room, plus to take the lead on new events coming up in a new function room being built in the next 3 months.
Somebody to assist in the running and organising of a monthly changing, non-profit, local artists gallery that is currently a very successful asset to the pub, alongside a key role in the social media and online presence for the site, proven social media skills would be advantageous.
We would require any applicant to have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and would accept applications from those who have been Trainee Assistant Managers in larger establishments and are looking to step up.
This role is offered on a full time contract and is available from the beginning of May.
Interviews and trial shifts will be required in the recruitment process.
