We are seeking an experienced CONFERENCE & EVENTS SALES MANAGER for our exceptional 4 star One AA rosette Crowne Plaza Marlow.
The hotel is conveniently located within easy reach of the M4/M40 and M25 motorways and Heathrow Airport. Marlow station is also within walking distance of the hotel.
The Hotel with a magnificent lakeside location, has 168 spacious bedrooms, a Conference Centre with 8 meeting rooms for up to 400 in the largest Lakeview suite, extensive Quad Wellness & Spa facilities and a multi-outlet food and beverage operation which includes the Glaze One AA Rosette restaurant and a busy Bar & Lounge.
We are looking for an experienced Conference & Events Sales Manager to support the departmental manager with responsibility for all C& E enquiries and client relationships.
This opportunity has arisen due to the departure of the existing long term C&E Sales Manager on maternity
You will be responsible for dealing with all incoming conference & event enquiries; show arounds; contracting; administration and managing client relationships including corporate as well as agency.
Ideal candidates should have strong experience in a similar position, ideally in a branded full service hotel, and have sound administrative, communication and computing skills.
Previous experience in Micros Fidelio Opera and Delphi will be a definite advantage
You should have an outgoing personality and attention to detail.
Successful candidates should ideally have a solid hotel sales background, preferably in a branded Hotel environment, with a passion to succeed.
