Personal Assistant - Cambridge
Greater Cambridge Partnership (CB3 0AP)
£18,070 to £24,964
(Please note that the higher salary range can be paid to experienced applicants if they are successful).
The Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP) is looking for a flexible, resourceful and highly organised individual to provide Personal Assistant support to the Chief Executive and Transport Director. This role is to primarily manage diaries, emails and a range of requests to make sure that nothing is ever missed. In doing so you will be supporting both individuals with information required for meetings, conference calls, presentations and events; ensuring that they and attendees have all of the necessary information required to effectively participate.
You will be the first port of call for the Chief Executive and Director and so will need to act as a ‘gatekeeper’ to support these two individuals. You will have exposure to the Greater Cambridge Partnership which consists of 5 different organisations, as well as a variety of stakeholders, local fora, as well as local and national government organisations, all whilst working closely with the GCP team.
The ideal candidate will need to be calm, efficient and diplomatic in their communication mechanisms, someone who can grasp different concepts quickly, and who has a customer focused approach that seeks to understand the underlying need of work and the speed in which it needs to be done.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to be proactive and can operate with minimal direction, yet who has the confidence to ask for help when needed and will work well within a strong and fast paced team.
This is a busy and diverse role to support two key members of the Greater Cambridge Partnership Senior Leadership team. You will need to be able to demonstrate previous Personal Assistant experience or that you have the aptitude to do act in this way, with the ideal candidate being experienced at supporting multiple individuals.
Closing date is Monday 26th February at 12 noon and interviews to be held w/c 5th March 2018.
