Project Coordinator / Estimator (12 month contract)
Vision On Design is a dynamic, entrepreneurial Design & Display Solutions Business, which provides its household name clients with a unique, end to end service. Products range from building wraps and illuminated signage, to retail displays and props.
This is an administrative role that focuses on producing job sheets, estimates, quotes and supporting Project Managers with project coordination.This will involve:
·data input e.g. populating job sheets with the information required by the Production team so that they know what is required by the Client and by when.You will therefore need to have working knowledge of Excel;
·liaising with internal departments in order to obtain information you need for quotes and to track progress against production deadlines.You will therefore need to be confident in speaking with other people in order to get the information you need;
·occasional contact with the client, often by email, so you should be familiar with Outlook and able to prepare suitably worded communications e.g. when updating them on the progress of a job.
Whilst full on-the-job training will be provided, you will already possess administration experience gained within an office environment and this will include data input and working with numbers i.e. costs, sizes, quantities.If you have already gained any project coordination or estimating experience then this would be particularly beneficial, as would experience gained within the print industry.
As the role requires good written and numerical skills you will possess GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or equivalent).You will be a highly organised individual who can multitask effectively and will be able to deal with last minute changes.A great team player, you pay attention to detail and work in a methodical manner.
The Project Coordinator / Estimator will be based at our production and head office facility at Ossett which is located just off junction 40 of the M1.Your normal work days will be Mon-Fri (37.5 hours, 9-5) but flexibility to work outside of these hours is essential.
Salary: £17.5k-£22k, subject to relevancy of experience.
Contract length: 12 months.
