A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an established estate agency based at our head office in North London as a Property Maintenance Administrator. The company has been successfully operating for over 45 years and manages a large portfolio of properties across North and Central London

The Maintenance Administrator will be expected to be organised and able to efficiently arrange and book in planned maintenance work and other administrative tasks as and when required. On occasion, the Maintenance Administrator may have the opportunity visit Clients or inspect properties and must be outgoing and comfortable in doing so.

Successful candidates must have experience working within the property maintenance industry. Knowledge of maintenance issues and strong administration skills are essential. You must also have experience IT scheduling systems and good customer service skills. 

The role of the Maintenance Administrator:

  • Deal with all maintenance issues and provide fantastic customer service to all tenants and landlords
  • Liaise with internal & external contractors to carry out works necessary
  • Ensuring day to day repair requests are dealt with
  • Organising repair quotes
  • Booking and arranging access to properties with tenants and landlords
  • Updating internal software and maintaining database
  • Building relationships with contractors and clients
  • Organising check in and check outs
  • Booking inspections and producing relevant reports
  • Dealing with all deposits and deductions
  • Produce reports on a regular basis

The ideal Candidate:

  • 6+ months experience in property maintenance or similar role is essential
  • Excellent Organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Fantastic customer service skills
  • Efficient with the Microsoft Package
  • Brilliant communication skills
  • ARLA qualified is preferential
  • Excellent problem solving skills with a "can do" attitude
