Job Purpose:

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for a large department, directly managing a deputy and a team of supervisors. Overall purpose: To plan, organise, direct and control the operational resources of a hotel contract in order to provide customer service and operational efficiency in line with contract requirements
We are looking for house keeping managers for our clients prestigious hotels around London

Key Responsibilities:
*To develop and maintain a professional and proactive business relationship with client representatives and other HOD's
*Ensure all Housekeeping staff are properly inducted and trained. Teams are lead, motivated, developed and appraised in order to achieve customer satisfaction and Company objectives
*To identify and initiate improvements to service, quality and operational efficiency.
*Advise management of all changes within the Hotel affecting the scope of housekeeping requirements
*Direct and control all Health and Safety related matters, carry out risk assessments and investigate all incidents and accidents occurring within the Hotel
*Plan, monitor and control budgets to achieve planned business performance
*Oversee the selection and recruitment of staff
*Ensure that standards are consistently achieved, maintained and reported through regular audit walk round with client

Person Specification:
Experience:
*A minimum of 2 years delivering housekeeping management of the size and nature of that required by the Hotel.
Skills:
*A sound understanding of the requirements of managing a hotel contract within the scope of the contract
*The ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, employees and teams at all levels
*A demonstrable capability as a negotiator
*A sound working knowledge of office based IT systems
*A sound appreciation of the requirements of Health & Safety and associated legislation
