The Red Lion is one of London's smallest, most traditional pubs - yet despite its size, it serves extremely high numbers at peak  times. Expect a busy, bustling atmosphere, with customers often standing outside for a drink.

Red Lion Parliament Street - Kitchen

The Red Lion is open over 3 floors, with 2 Dining rooms and 1 main bar area. We also have a Kitchen on the 2nd floor with a team of 10 people delivering great food on a daily basis.

We are known as an Ale & Pie House within the Fullers family and are very keen on the  freshness of our menu. All our pies are freshly made on site, every day by our Pie Chef.

Our Kitchen was invested in only 3 years ago, but we are getting busier every month, so to keep up with demand I am sure the Company will want to invest again with new equipment and the fabric of the Kitchen so that we can deliver great food all of the time a lot quicker.

Join us as a Junior Sous Chef and you’ll be right at the cutting edge of our kitchen’s creativity. You’ll be part of the kitchen management team reporting to the Head Chef, adding your experience and wisdom to the team mix.

Food is a serious business in Fuller’s pubs, so you’ll be working in an advanced kitchen to create fabulous, fresh dishes – using the best of seasonal, local ingredients.

As Junior Sous Chef & part of the kitchen management team reporting to the Head Chef, you’ll assist the Sous Chef to take full control of the kitchen when they’re away. It’s a great opportunity to make a real impact, and prove yourself ready to step up to the Head Chef role.

And you’ll be supported every step of the way by a team of talented Executive Chefs and Fuller’s training team to help you to develop your career.

You’ll need to be a talented chef with passion for fresh food and a love of kitchen camaraderie. You’ll be able to bring the best out in others – and you’ll take immense pride in every successful service.

A hygiene qualification, excellent food knowledge and food safety awareness are all be essential for being a Sous Chef with Fullers. But we’re interested in your personality and potential too – not just your previous experience.
