New Independent Opening set to launch late spring 2018 in the heart of the West End

Concept: offering authentic, innovative cooking inspired by the Persian Gulf – commitment to sourcing the very best ingredients from artisan UK and International suppliers; all made in house on a daily basis from new, high spec. kitchen.

7 day operation: due to open early to late.


Working closely with the two Owners and Opening Executive chef, duties include:

Pre-opening responsibilities: kitchen set up; menu development; team recruitment & training; implementation of systems and procedures; local authority liaison

Menu planning – tastings, specs, sourcing

Daily kitchen and team management – directing and mentoring the team accordingly

Purchasing; kitchen admin and reporting; cost control; stock management & GP calculation; compliance files; maintenance of kitchen and equipment

Desired Attributes

Experience at Head chef level within a comparable kitchen; passion for / background in Middle Eastern / Persian cooking.

Creative with good all round skill set: inspirational leader; strong organisation & communication; dedication; drive and attention to detail.

Salary & Benefits

Start salary: £45,000 – £55,000 basic pa plus KPI related bonus

Permanent contract subject to standard 3 months probationary period: regular salary reviews (performance / sales dependent); courses as required; 28 days paid annual leave; workplace pension option; group discounts; FAM trips & team excursions; laundered uniform & meals on duty

Approx. 50 – 55 hrs p wk / 7 to 8 shifts over 5 days incl. Weekends
