Position: Assistant Manager
Operation: Restaurant Wine Bar (2AA Rosette)
Location: Central London
Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 pa
Working Hrs: 5 Days / 7 Shifts (Mon to Sat)
This destination Restaurant & Wine Bar located in the heart of the West End, is massively popular with discerning diners and wine connoisseurs alike.
Offering a daily changing, market driven menu showcasing top British produce supported by an extensive array of award winning wines, this famed independent has a warm and welcoming vibe, is busy throughout the week and receives regular rave reviews for its food, wine and informed, friendly service.
Covers: 50 – 70 lunch / 150 – 200 dinner (Mon to Sat)
Working closely with the General Manager and the Kitchen team, responsibilities include:
Overseeing the smooth running of the entire operation in the absence of the General Manager
Opening & closing duties
Managing and organising FOH team, ensuring the delivery of excellent service levels and customer care on a consistent basis
Ordering of stock, inventory control & stock audits
Team hiring, training & development, personnel files
Daily admin, weekly figure reporting & due diligence files and procedures
Involvement in monthly P&L (sales, purchasing & labour targets)
Developing new business ideas and marketing & promotional strategies to drive sales & raise Restaurant profile (local & online)

Salary & Benefits
£28,000 – £30,000 basic salary pa
Permanent contract subject to standard 3 months probationary period: external courses as required; ongoing in-house development; progression and movement within London based independent restaurant group (new London projects confirmed); regular salary reviews; workplace pension option; standard 28 days paid annual leave; group staff discounts; meals on duty
7 shifts over 5 days (Mon to Sat / 12am to 1am finish)
Closed Sundays & Public / Bank Holidays off
