Revenue Manager required to join fun central team. Assisting in remote revenue management, contributing to the success of the company. This job carries a high level of responsibility & accountability. May be a good move for somebody looking for a step into revenue management but please understand this is long term commitment & not a casual hospitality job!
About the job
Recording daily figures with absolute accuracy and reporting on findings
Analyzing & reacting to the trends of the hostel to maximise sales potential
Setting and maintaining strategy for the week, month & year
Driving business to achieve targets & growth YOY
Working extremely closely with the group department to coach and guide effective revenue decisions.
Optimising distribution to achieve maximum benefit from partnerships
Identifying weak partnerships & room for improvements
Working closely with the general managers to develop and maintain a revenue culture.
Reducing the cost of commission by working with digital to drive business to the brand website.
Maintaining a rolling event calendar and apply strategy to reflect demand
Providing accurate forecasting on a weekly and monthly basis
Contributing to the yearly budget by providing a full review of your property
Ensuring all systems are configured correctly & working at full capacity
Continual assessment of practises with a view to improving
You must be able to effectively manage your time to ensure all related admin is completed to the highest level while the majority of your attention is always given to revenue generating activity

About your experience & skills
You will have a minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior role in a Hostel or Hotel
You should have strong analytical and numeric skills, must be able to pull together & analyse data
You should have experience with PMS systems, channel managers & OTA’s
You must have a high level of Excel skills but you should be proficient in word & outlook
You must have an Impeccable attention to detail
Strong command of English written & spoken, additional languages a bonus
