Brooksby Melton College has an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Maths to join the team based in Brooksby. You will be on a part time fixed term contract, working 18.5 hours per week, with a highly competitive salary of £12,544.48 - £13,708.50 per annum depending on qualifications and experience (based on full time equivalent of £25,082 - £27,414 per annum).

Brooksby Melton College is a specialist vocational Further and Higher Education provider in Leicestershire, spread across two main campuses – one in the heart of the lively market town of Melton Mowbray and the other on an 850-acre estate at Brooksby.

The College received a “Good” Ofsted judgement in 2016 and our objective is to be judged an “Outstanding” College within the next five years. As part of this journey, both our campuses have undergone a £27m redevelopment, bringing new facilities and improved environments for all our students and staff.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Lecturer in Maths, with the possibility of GCSE delivery depending on experience, at Brooksby Melton College to support the Maths team in all aspects of the department.

We would like to hear from applicants who hold Qualified Teacher Status and a Level 3 qualification in maths (or willing to work towards).

You will be self-motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic, confident and with excellent communication skills.

As the Lecturer in Maths, you will be required to:

- Deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment in maths to learners of all abilities across a wide range of vocational courses.
- You will be required to contribute to the planning, delivery, assessment, evaluation and design of the courses.
