A perfect position for someone who is interested in more than just clocking in and out, this is a challenging role for an experienced Assistant Site Manager based in the Oxfordshire and Swindon region.
As an Assistant Site Manager, you will be a vital cog within this industry leading house building business. Reporting to the Project Manager and Construction Director, both based on site alongside you, you will be fully supported and developed to ensure you operate in the way that has enabled them to successfully build quality homes for over 40 years.
With the guidance of the Project Manager and Construction Director, you will enable your team of subcontractors to build more quality houses on time and within budget. You will be given clear objectives throughout the project.
About you
You will need to be adaptable and strong in your management approach with a consistent eye on client care throughout.

You will have excellent communication and problem solving skills
Computer literate
CSCS Card/SSSTS/SMSTS
First Aid (desirable)
Role duties:
Reporting to Site Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
Ensure that the programme deadlines are achieved
Assist the contractors and subcontractors to ensure they have a full understanding of the required program dates
Ensure that all building operations are carried out in line with current health and safety standards and that all method statements and risk assessments have been reviewed and checklists completed
Conduct and monitor tool box meetings, health & safety training, including site inductions and site training are conducted as necessary
Ensure that all works are carried out to the highest standards of quality
Assess the quality of work at all stages
